
Located between the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, Sant’ Agata sui Due Golfi is a hamlet belonging to Massa Lubrense, at the extreme end of Sorrento Coast.
Its territory is well-known for the beauty of its views, in fact Sant’ Agata lies just in front of the Island of Capri and is rich in Roman and Etruskan evidences which are still visible today.
To get to Sant’ Agata sui Due Golfi it is possible to catch trains, buses, cars and its is also easy to reach it from Capodichino Naples Airport.
How to reach Sorrento Coast
From Capodichino Airport
Sorrento Coast is well linked to Capodichino Airport. At the Airport you’ll find the buses of the Curreri Viaggi line, leaving every hour and getting to Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello and Sorrento. From Capodichino Airport there is also the Alibus service which, from 6.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m., takes both to Naples railway station, from where you can take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento Coast, and to the Station Marittima of Municipio Square, to take the hydrofoils or the so-called Metrò del Mare.
By train
To get to Sorrento Coast by train, after arriving at Naples Central Station, you have to take the Circumvesuviana going to all the towns in Sorrento Coast and taking almost an hour to get to Sorrento.
By car
To reach Sant’ Agata sui due Golfi from North, after going along the A2 Milano-Napoli, take the A3 Napoli-Sorrento and exit in Castellammare di Stabia. If you are coming from South, go along the Reggio Calabria-Salerno motorway towards Naples, up to the exit of Castellammare di Stabia. If you are coming from East, go along the A16 Bari-Napoli, then the A3 Napoli-Salerno, up to Castellammare di Stabia.
By sea
To get to Sorrento by sea, you can take the hydrofoils and the so-called Metrò del Mare. The journey takes from sixty to seventy minutes. The ticket can be bought at the ticket office of Molo Beverello. |
