To reach Sant’ Agata sui due Golfi from the North, after going along the A2 Milano-Napoli, take the A3 Napoli-Sorrento and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. If you are coming from the South, go along the Reggio Calabria-Salerno motorway towards Naples, up to the exit of Castellammare di Stabia. If you are coming from the East, go along the A16 Bari-Napoli, then the A3 Napoli-Salerno, up to Castellammare di Stabia.
The Sorrento Coast is well linked to Capodichino Airport. From the Airport take a bus on the Curreri Viaggi line leaving every hour stopping at Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello and Sorrento. From Capodichino Airport there is also the Alibus service which, from 6.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m., takes passengers both to Naples railway station, from where you can take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento Coast, and to the Station Marittima of Municipio Square, to take the hydrofoils or the so-called Metrò del Mare.

The Grand Hotel Hermitage lies in an oasis of vibrant flowers and greenery, a short walk from the town of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi down a private path.
A charming little place, the town was a centre for merchant activity between the two gulfs but which became famous as an idyllic tourist spot for Italians and foreigners alike - most notably by partakers of the 'Grand Tour' of gentry, poets, writers and artists. The town is so-called from the late renaissance 16th century church there named after the Sicilian virgin Saint Agatha which holds a Florentine masterpiece altar.
Of course the city of Sorrento is also only a short distance from the hotel and a free shuttle service is available at set times and on request to take guests there and back.
Dating from around 600BC at its earliest foundation, Sorrento is a small city rich in archaeological treasures with a strong tourist presence due to its outstanding natural beauty and charming pace of life. Famous for it's limoncello - a sweet lemon liqueur - it is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day or meal and sip the taste of summer whilst gazing out over the Gulf of Naples.
